It was decided to give project-based state aid to some production facility investments in Sakarya, Düzce, Kocaeli, Bursa, Gaziantep and Ankara.

Presidential decisions on the subject entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, the investment deadline of Gedik Welding Industry and Trade AŞ’s high-tech welding equipment production facility in Sakarya, whose start date is 24 August 2017, has been determined as 6 years. The fixed investment amount envisaged in the project is 903 million TL, the number of additional employment is 309, and the predicted number of qualified workers is 18.

9.4 billion liras to İGSAS

The investment deadline for the ammonia and urea fertilizer production facility, which was built by Istanbul Gübre Sanayii AŞ in Kocaeli and started on September 1, 2022, was determined as 5 years. The fixed investment price envisaged in the project was 9 billion 403 million 917 thousand liras, and the number of additional employment was 326. At the end of the investment, it is expected to produce 396 thousand tons of ammonia and 627 thousand tons of urea fertilizer per year.

The duration of the investment in the ammunition design, military rifle and semi-automatic pistol production facility of Sarsılmaz Silah Sanayi AŞ in Düzce, whose start date is June 1, 2022, has been determined as 5 years. The fixed investment price foreseen in the project was 1 billion 345 million 464 thousand liras, the number of additional employment was 286 and the predicted number of qualified workers was 35. At the end of the investment, it is planned to produce 62,500 semi-automatic pistols and 5,100 military rifles annually.

The investment deadline for the electric driven compressor production facility of Valeo Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which was built in Bursa and started on September 6, 2022, was claimed as 5 years. The fixed investment price envisaged in the project was 4 billion 250 million TL, the number of additional employment was 600 and the number of qualified workers was 30. At the end of the investment, it is expected to produce 1 million 800 thousand electrically driven compressors per year.

2.4 billion liras for plastic production

The deadline for the polymer/chips and POY production facility investment of Polyteks Dokuma Sanayi Araştırma ve Eğitim AŞ in Bursa, whose start date is 28 June 2022, has been determined as 4 years. The fixed investment price envisaged in the project was 2 billion 445 million 330 thousand liras, and the number of additional employment was 250. At the end of the investment, it is planned to produce 26,950 tons of recycled polymer/chips and recycled POY per year.

The investment period of the polymer/chips production facility of Merinos Halı Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which was put into practice in Gaziantep and whose starting date is January 1, 2022, is foreseen as 3 years. The fixed investment price estimated in the project was 3 billion 672 million TL, the number of additional employment was 285 and the number of qualified workers was 15. At the end of the investment, it is expected to produce 367,500 tons of polymer chips annually.

The said investments, which are decided to be given project-based state aid, will benefit from incentives such as VAT exemption and customs tax exemption.

On the other hand, the total fixed investment amount in the photovoltaic solar panel production facility investment supported by Kalyon PV’s project-based state aid in Ankara was increased from 2 billion 100 million lira to 3 billion 700 million lira. The number of employment envisaged in the project was increased from 982 to 2 thousand 635, and the maximum qualified worker reinforcement was increased from 57 million lira to 100 million lira.
