Applications within the scope of the “Yeni Konutum Housing Finance Program” announced by the Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati and the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum will start tomorrow.
With the campaign, it is aimed that middle-income citizens can buy their first houses in 81 provinces with a much more suitable maturity structure compared to market conditions.
In this context, financing of up to 5 million liras in Istanbul, 3 million liras in Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin and Muğla, and up to 2 million liras for other cities can be provided.
With the financing model, which will be offered with ease of payment for the first 3 years with the support of the state and payment opportunities compatible with the household income throughout the loan term, it is aimed that all 100 thousand families will have their first-hand new housing in the first stage. In the campaign, a maturity difference starting from 0.69 percent, a 15-year maturity, a 10 percent down payment, an installment rate that will not exceed 30 percent of the household income and the first 3-year payment facility will be provided.
Covers 81 provinces
With the financing model in question, individuals will be able to own houses from finished houses in 81 provinces, houses that have been completed and ongoing at a reasonable rate, and new projects that have signed a guarantee contract with banks.
Spouses in the household who want to benefit from the program must not have a residence above them and must not have sold a house in the last year. The purchased house will not be sold for 5 years, the new house will have a one-year residence condition.
Every citizen of the Republic of Turkey, over the age of 18, who is deemed appropriate to obtain a loan by the banks, will be able to benefit from the campaign.
Website will be up and running tomorrow
Details of the project can be learned on a website that will be opened as of tomorrow and citizens will be able to apply.
Within the scope of the campaign, it is planned to sell 100 thousand houses in the first stage. 10% of the housing price will be paid in advance, and those who wish can pay more. Projects produced by Emlak Konut General Directorate, projects of companies affiliated to GYODER, İNDER, KONUTDER, İMKON and the Turkish Contractors Association, and all large and small scale housing projects produced by companies in all 81 provinces will be included in this process if they meet the technical and financial criteria.
Citizens who want to own a house in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin and Muğla will be required to reside in that province for one year. In other provinces, this rule will not apply.
