BNB Chain announced in their BNB Greenfield technical research that they are looking forward to creating Web3 infrastructure based on blockchain.

The Web3 infrastructure testnet made and proposed by the main team of BNB Chain, the network of Binance, the most popular cryptocurrency exchange, stated that they support NodeReal, Amazon Webservices and Blackdaemon by the team working to develop the community.

The Benefits of the Investment to the Users were Mentioned

It is described in the whitepaper as the decentralized, on-chain storage infrastructure that enables users and decentralized applications to take full ownership of the data. It includes publishing, potential use cases, personal cloud and data storage, website hosting, and more.

BNB Greenfield, which will use BNB Chain, is created with smart contract integrations as a decentralized storage system for Web3 applications.

Network Worker Comments on Initiative

Victor Genin, senior solutions architect at BNB Chain, outlined the purpose of the upcoming initiative. He explained their desire to create a theme for the ownership and use of data and added:

“BNB Greenfield will bring programmability to data ownership that can benefit stored data, creating opportunities for financialisation.”

Services Provided to Users by the System

As long as users have the BNB Chain address and BNB tokens, they can store their data in BNB Greenfield, similar to Web2 cloud services like DropBox. It can also enable to store data from the past and distribute websites.

The system will also use NFTs, integrated with smart contracts, for the management of ownership and authorization to read existing data. The BNB chain will be used to store storage metadata. Third-party storage providers, on the other hand, will be responsible for the storage of the data.
