Euronext plans to move the derivatives swap currently run by LCH SA, part of the London Stock Exchange Group, to Italy in 2024.
Euronext will shift its derivatives clearing to Euronext Clearing, the new clearing company it has established in Italy, by the third quarter of next year.
“Euronext has confirmed that it expects to move the clearing of financial derivatives and commodities markets quoted to Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Brussels, Euronext Lisbon, Oslo Stock Exchange and Euronext Paris from LCH SA to Euronext Clearing by the third quarter of 2024,” the statement said.
