Biden’s personal lawyer, Bob Bauer, said in a written statement that FBI spies searched Biden’s Willmington residence on Friday.
In the statement, it was stated that during the search, which lasted about 13 hours, there were 6 implied documents regarding Biden’s transfers in the Senate and his vice-leadership.
While the new documents were seized by Ministry of Justice officials for further investigation, it was pointed out that Biden willingly gave permission for the search carried out at his residence.
In the statement, it was also shared that Leader Biden and his wife Jill Biden were not at the residence for the weekend vacation during the search.
Unknown documents from Biden’s office and residence
Richard Sauber, one of Biden’s advisers, said on January 9 that Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center had “few documents containing classified information” left over from his deputy leader mission period on November 2, 2022.
Stating that the documents were in a “locked cupboard”, Sauber announced that as soon as the documents were found, Biden’s individual lawyers contacted the White House and state institutions related to national archives.
Biden stated that he was “surprised” when he heard that closed documents came out of his office and that he had no knowledge of the contents of the documents.
The Ministry of Justice appointed a specially authorized prosecutor to examine the documents in question.
Before Biden, FBI spies searched Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach on August 8, 2022, and the discovery of the secret documents was discussed for a long time in the country. Biden said, “How can someone be so irresponsible?” He criticized Trump.
Republicans have been criticizing Biden for a while now, with the revealing of the wrong documents in Biden’s office and residence.
