Foreign loan debt of the private department decreased in November

As of the end of November, the total loan debt obtained from abroad by the private sector in Turkey decreased by $7.2 billion compared to the end of 2021 and became $161.2 billion.

The foreign loan debt of the private branch was $161.2 billion as of the end of November.

When analyzed by maturity, it was observed that long-term loan debt decreased by 8.3 billion dollars to 152.6 billion dollars compared to the end of 2021, while short-term debt excluding commercial loans increased by 1.1 billion dollars to 8.5 billion dollars.

When the total loan debt of the private department from abroad is analyzed in terms of the remaining maturity, the principal repayments to be made within 1 year totaled 40.9 billion dollars.
