Indonesia Spends Heavy Hours on Launching National Crypto Exchange
Indonesia plans to launch its national crypto exchange, which it planned to launch late last year, by June after delays.
The Indonesian Ministry of Commerce was observed to be working hard to quickly launch the national crypto exchange. Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan shared the launch date at an event he attended the other day.
Currently, there are five active cryptocurrency exchanges registered with the country’s regulators. According to Hasan, the country’s national crypto exchange could cover all these exchanges.
While there is diversity in crypto exchanges in the country, the mission of the national crypto exchange will be a little different. The national exchange will act as a trading provider and protector in the crypto industry.
Speaking on the subject, Hasan said;
“Let’s not rush because things will get messy if he’s not ready. The government does not want this to cause great harm to the public. Because people don’t know much about crypto trading.”
