Japan has expanded its sanctions over Russia’s attack on Ukraine. As the Japanese government banned the export of a number of strategic artifacts to Russia, the number of Russians whose assets were frozen also increased.
According to the statement, the new sanctions, which will come into effect on February 3, prohibit the export of chip equipment and modules, robots, power generators, explosives and vaccines to Russia.
With the new sanctions package, the assets of 3 Russian companies and 22 Russian citizens were frozen.
