According to the “Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG) Market Section Report” of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority for November 2022, the countries from which LPG imports are made by refinery and distributor license holders are Algeria, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Norway, France and Libya.
LPG imports increased by 43.2 percent in November 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 353 thousand 142 tons.
In this period, LPG exports by refinery and distributor license holders increased by 136.7 percent to 49 thousand 738 tons. Exports were made to 10 countries and regions including Lebanon, Greece, Sweden, Seychelles, Bulgaria, Romania, Tunisia, Marshall Islands, Turkey Free Zone and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
LPG production, on the other hand, decreased by 18 percent in one-to-one cycle and became 77 thousand 472 tons.
The total LPG sales made by distributor license holders in November 2022 were calculated as approximately 346 thousand 7 tons.
In the month in question, autogas ranked first in sales with a 77.7 percent market share. This was followed by cylinder LPG with 14.6 percent and bulk LPG with 7.7 percent.
