In the news, it was noted that Microsoft, which employs more than 220,000 people, plans to reduce its workforce by about 5 percent, which means the dismissal of approximately 11 thousand people.
According to Bloomberg’s report, sources close to the matter stated that Microsoft plans to go to layoffs in some engineering units on January 18.
On the other hand, Microsoft’s balance sheet for the October-December period of last year is expected to be announced on January 24, while analysts expect the company to record its slowest revenue growth since fiscal 2017.
