Norges Bank, which manages the Norwegian Wealth Fund, bought 49 percent of the renewable power portfolio of the Spanish firm Iberdrola in the country.
In the statement made by the bank, it was noted that the portfolio in question consists of solar power plants with a power of 1.3 gigawatts council and onshore wind power plants.
In the statement, which stated that the contract was signed yesterday, it was emphasized that the contract would be completed in the first quarter of this year.
Norges Bank reported that the Spanish firm Iberdrola has purchased 49 percent of the country’s renewable power portfolio, for which 600 million euros will be paid.
According to the statement, Spanish power company Iberdrola will continue to be the operator of its portfolio. It was also stated that the solar and wind power plants in question have a production capacity equivalent to the electricity consumption of 700 thousand households in Spain.
