President Erdogan met with Putin

Kremlin announced that President Erdogan and Russian President Putin had a telephone conversation. During the meeting, Ukraine, the power center and Syria were discussed.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the issues of Ukraine, natural gas center and grain agreement in their phone call.

At the meeting, the grain corridor and ammonia export issues were also discussed, and concrete steps were discussed in the project of turning Russian grain into flour in Turkey and sending it to African countries in need.

During the meeting, President Erdoğan reiterated that as Turkey, they are ready to undertake the mission of facilitating and mediating for the establishment of a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine.

In the statement, it was stated that the leaders also discussed the issue of normalizing Turkey-Syria relations.
