The winner of the competition between Nvidia and AMD has been determined. Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti Its sales have overtaken its AMD rivals. In the first three weeks of 2023, the RTX 4070 Ti, RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 sales made Nvidia smile. So why is AMD lagging behind even though it’s cheaper?
RTX 4070 Ti vs AMD RX 7900 XT

On the other hand, Intel, which has just entered the market, has remained in the class. According to the German seller’s data, only 20 units were available during this period. Intel Arc screen has been sold. Although it is entry-level and half the price compared to AMD and Intel, it did not even reach the 1 percent market share.
Graphics card sales and the average price of a video card in the first three weeks of January were as follows:
- AMD: 1665 units (42.26%) – 656 euros
- Nvidia: 2255 units (57.23%) – 807 euros
- Intel: 20 units (0.51 percent) – 270 euros
In January, the revenues of the graphics card manufacturer were listed as follows:
- AMD revenue: 1,092,951 euros (37.46 percent)
- NVIDIA revenue: 1,819,085 euros (62.35%)
- Intel revenue: 5,396 euros (0.18%)
It’s worth noting, though, that these figures are for one vendor only and may not reflect the worldwide market. Only European users have preferred the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti in recent weeks.
