Spanish police have arrested three executives of the cryptocurrency exchange Bitzlato, as a result of simultaneous operations with many countries.
According to the news of Anadolu Agency, three executives of Bitzlato, which came to the fore in a sensational way last month, were arrested. The Spanish police dealt a blow to Bitzlato as a result of the simultaneous operations with France, Portugal, Cyprus and the USA. The police underlined that the CEO of the company was among those arrested.

The Spanish police stated that Bitzlato is a global money laundering center for cryptocurrencies and that criminals are actively using this exchange.
The Spanish police, who arrested three important executives of Bitzlato, stated that the duties of these executives are CEO, sales manager and marketing director. Police arrested executives for money laundering with cryptocurrencies.
Six people, all Russian and Ukrainian nationals, were arrested in operations carried out in many countries. In addition, the French police seized and disabled the servers hosting the cryptocurrency platform.
In these operations, authorities seized a total of 18 million euros in assets, including luxury cars, cash, smartphones and other technological products. In addition, more than a hundred crypto accounts have been blocked as part of Bitzlato operations.
