NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg came to the fore to sign a joint declaration on EU-NATO cooperation with European Union (EU) Committee Leader Ursula von der Leyen and EU Council Leader Charles Michel.
Stating that all members will approve the NOTA membership of Sweden and Finland, Stoltenberg stated that the EU and NATO are determined to take their participation to the next level in the face of increasing geostrategic competition.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said a short time ago that they could not meet all of Turkey’s demands regarding his country’s NATO membership, and said, “Turkey confirms that we are doing what we say we will do, but they also say that they want things that we cannot do or do not want to give.”
