According to the news of the UAE official agency WAM, UAE State Leader Pir Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan came to a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Kasim Cömert Tokayev, who is on an official visit to the country, at the Al-Watan Palace in the capital city Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, ways to develop cooperation ties between the two countries and to take them to wider horizons in various fields and a number of issues of common importance were discussed.

During the meeting, the ways of cooperation between the two countries and the opportunities to diversify them in different fields such as investment, economics, development and renewable power were also reviewed, and 9 memorandums of understanding aiming to develop cooperation and strengthen connections between the two countries in the fields of power, health, transportation, education, ports and investment. agreement was signed.

Bin Zayed stated that for more than 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992, the relations of the two countries have come to the fore with strength and mutual understanding.

Noting that there is an efficient cooperation in the field of renewable power in the middle of the two countries, bin Zayed pointed out that contracts worth approximately 6 billion dollars were signed in 2021 in this field.

President of Kazakhstan Tokayev said that the UAE is a valuable strategic partner for Kazakhstan in the Middle East and the Arab world.

Tokayev stated that there is a partnership and strong political dialogue between the UAE and Kazakhstan, and that this visit will benefit new projects in the two countries.

In the middle of the agreements signed between the two countries, there is also the “strategic partnership” agreement signed between the Abu Dhabi Ports Cluster (AD Ports Group) and KazMunayGaz, the state-owned oil and gas company in Kazakhstan.
